Sydney shows off her skydiving moves in a gigantic wind tunnel
EJ Carr
Sydney Kennett
Sydney Kennett is a competitive skydiver. But she’s never jumped out of a plane! The Colorado teen uses a special wind tunnel that creates an experience similar to skydiving—no parachute required. The tunnel is a big tube with fans that blow powerful jets of air.
Sydney twists and turns her body to do incredible tricks in the air. At only 16, Sydney aims to stay at the top of her sport for years to come. She placed second in the World Cup this spring.
To practice her routines, Sydney completes two 15-minute flight sessions per week.
How much time does she spend flying in 2 weeks? Express your answer in hours.
