When looking through any teaching resource, it’s not unusual to want to know: Where’s the answer key? For DynaMath — and many of Scholastic’s classroom magazines — there’s a few places you can look, depending on which materials you’re using.
Answer keys: in print and online
Answers to every math question in the print edition can be found in the Teacher’s Guide (the black-and-white insert that comes with your magazines each month).
Inside you’ll also see answers to the teaching materials printed in our Teacher’s Guide. They include our Problem of the Day (a series of 20 daily warm-up problems) and our DynaDashes (short, grade-level fluency-building activities).
The same Teacher’s Guide is also available online. Simply sign in, click on the current issue, and then click on the “Teaching Resources” button to the left of the issue cover. Once you’re on the “Teaching Resources” page, you can click on the “Teacher’s Guide” icon for a digital version of the resource.
Online skills sheets have answer keys, too
As part of every issue, we have four additional skills sheets online. They compliment our feature articles with related math skills and reading comprehension questions (Check out our September materials!). Finding the answer key to these materials is just like finding the Teacher’s Guide online. Just click on the “Answer Key” icon when you’re in the “Teaching Resources” section.
Don’t forget the student answer sheet!
DynaMath includes problems with may require drawing diagrams or explaining your work. To keep all DynaMath answers in one place, use the student answer sheet created for each issue. Download and print the answer sheet from “Teaching Resources” section.
I hope this helps! Shoot me an e-mail if you want to learn more.
